St Therese de Liseux - The Little Flower

St Therese de Liseux - The Little Flower
St. Therese De Liseux - The Little Flower's prayer - May today there be peace within us. May we trust God that we are exactly where we are meant to be. May we not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May we use those gifts that we have received and pass on the love that has been given to us. May we be content knowing we are children of God. Let this presence settle into our bones and allow our souls the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us. Amen

Preliminary Model Exams

It is that time of the year when Little Flower Engineering Institute is buzzing with positive energy and enthusiasm as it is the time for revision and testing all what the students have learnt this academic year as the NCVT exams are within a month.

The LFEI Students from all NCVT Courses along with their Teachers & Trainers are consistently revisiting the pages of their syllabus and pondering on the points so as to be fully confident and ready for the exams. The Model Exams at the LFEI is not just a curtain-raiser to the main exam but in fact it is the very method that empowers the LFEI trainees to continuously secure very high success rates and ranks at the National Level. The theory and practical exams are currently underway at the LFEI with a very comfortable hall-layout in the very spacious and well ventilated LFEI auditorium. check some of the photos from the Junior's exams taken courtesy of LFEI Senior Electronics Trainee Mr. Jeya Pradeep who concluded his exams yesterday.

The invigilators ensuring the principle of honesty in the students were Gopinathan Sir - GI, Joseph Sir, Mary Treasa Teacher, Mary Lini Teacher, Sini Teacher, Sebastian Sir and other Teachers and Trainers of Little Flower Engineering Institute. Fe images here-below:

Senior Instructor Lizy Teacher was seen devoting quality time with the Senior Trainees of Fitter Trade. Students were seen training with dedication and having all their doubts clarified by Mrs. Lizy Jacob. The camera caught them in upbeat mood and high morale brimming with confidence as most of the Senior Fitters have been shortlisted for employment by major companies at various Campus interviews held this month. Fellow trainees were also seen helping each other in groups, which is a very healthy sign. Here are a few images:

LFEI Expression of Moral Values
A few students from the First Year Courses have scripted and enacted a couple of mimes during their moral values training sessions for the World Youth Parliament by the Reverends of Idente Missionaries at the Little Flower Auditorium on Monday 06th June 2011. The mimes were to convey the message about the harmful destructive consequences of drug abuse combined with other vices. Another act also depicted the need for caring of our natural resources by addressing issues such as needless wastage of water and food resources with the strong message that these resources belong to the whole world. Below is the picture of the student actors.

Standing (L to R) are Jelson, Linesh, Toufiq, Kiran, Rixon, Jeffin, Sharan and Arjun posing after performing two mimes 'back-to-back' for The World Youth Parliament organised by the Idente Missionaries. The mimes had very strong messages for the world community and youth in particular. One mime depicted the bane of drugs, alcoholism and other vices grappling youth worldwide. The second mime highlighted the wastages of natural resources by reckless and careless people. as it is understood that resources such as food, water and so on belongs not just an individual or group but to the entire world.
